Vertykalna Kids
How many children are in a group?
The number of participants depends on the type of class. The safety of our students and individual approach are two things we emphasize - therefore, in training sessions led by one trainer, a maximum of 8 people participate. In classes where two trainers are present, the number of participants is higher - 12 children.
Can parents be present in the room during classes?
It all depends on what classes you've chosen ;) In fun-kids groups (for 3-year-olds), the parent's presence in the first training sessions is even mandatory! In other classes, the parent does not participate in the training process, but if the situation requires it (or they simply want to), they can observe the classes from the side for the first few training sessions. If the child is having fun in classes on their own - we invite the parent for coffee and reading in our parent corner :)
Can my 4-year-old participate in classes for older children, e.g., 7-year-olds?
We recommend attending groups appropriate to the child's age. With children of different ages, we implement different programs, always tailored to their needs. But! If it turns out that your little one stands out among peers, the trainer will definitely notice and suggest another group - so start with yours without worry, and everything will 'become clear' along the way ;)
Are several groups held in the hall simultaneously?
We care about the comfort of our little ones, so in our small hall only one training group takes place at a specific time.
Can a child join a group in the middle of the semester?
Yes, of course! However, it may happen that after the first classes, the trainer will ask for participation in additional individual classes - such 'catch-up' sessions. There, the child will be able to quickly make up for missed material and soon join the group without lagging behind peers in skills ;)
Can classes be mixed within a pass?
Unfortunately, there is no such possibility - for a simple reason - we take great care that our groups are not too large and that children represent an even level. The exception is, of course, a one-time make-up class in another group - talk to your trainer about the best solution for you :)
Optimally, how many times a week should one attend classes?
The best results are seen when a child meets with us twice a week. However, there are participants who see us more often or once a week. Everything depends on your willingness and possibilities ;)
Is acrobatics for every toddler?
Basically yes, but if your toddler has any contraindications (e.g.: cannot hang upside down, has chronic illness, has disorders) you should report this to reception or the trainer before the first training. If this concerns you, it's always worth talking to your doctor before starting classes.
Can we show up for classes 'off the street' without informing about our presence beforehand?
Before coming to our Center, you should contact us in advance: by phone or email. Why? To accurately match classes to your toddler's needs. Classes in a mismatched group can be ineffective. The exceptions are our regular clients who have received a recommendation from us by email and know which group they should sign up for, and Fun Kids classes for 3-year-olds, where we mainly sneak acrobatics through play - drop by whenever you want! :)
The child catches various infections at kindergarten and we missed several classes. Can we use pre-paid training sessions in the next month?
Yes! We make up for unused classes. You have 30 days to make up. Classes in our Hall take place daily from Monday to Friday. You will definitely find a suitable time for yourselves ;)
Is there a changing table and corner for even younger siblings in the bathroom?
We have both a changing table and an area for younger babies.
Do I have to decide on a full monthly pass right away?
There is no such need. At the first classes, you can purchase a single class. If you would like to stay with us longer, it will be necessary to sign a contract and purchase a monthly pass.
Classes
How long do classes last?
Everything depends on the child's age and the group's advancement level :) We invite you to familiarize yourself with the class schedule - there you will find the exact duration of each training and several other useful information.
Can younger siblings train at the same time as older ones?
Of course - families are our number 1 priority! ;) The training system is designed so that siblings can participate in different classes simultaneously.
When can a child move to a competitive group?
The trainer decides about the child's transition to the competitive group. Talk to them - they will certainly provide you with all the information :)
What if there's a problem with making up classes due to, for example: lack of free places in the group?
Classes can be made up in any group. Moreover, it doesn't have to be the discipline you train every day! Instead of aerial acrobatics, do you want to try artistic gymnastics or sports acrobatics? No problem! It will be an interesting experience :)
Do absences from classes need to be reported?
No, there is no such need, but making up absences does - this way it's easier for us to organize :)
Can my child change training group in the middle of the school year?
Yes, provided that there are free places in the group they want to transfer to and if the level of the new group matches their skills.
Do I need to invest in specialized equipment when enrolling my child in classes?
Absolutely not. Our hall is one of the best-equipped places in the city.
Outfit
How should a child be dressed for training?
Everything depends on the classes the child attends. For sports acrobatics or gymnastics classes, girls can choose a bodysuit or leggings and a t-shirt. Boys short shorts and a t-shirt. However, in aerial acrobatics classes, clothing covering areas around the armpits and knees is required. If you have doubts - we're here to help!
Do competitors from competitive groups participating in competitions need to obtain specialized attire?
Yes, people going to competitions must have attire compliant with regulations, reflecting the character of music and choreography. Talk to your trainer about the details.
Are indoor shoes required at the facility?
Shoes we come to training in are left in the locker room. In the training area, we can only be in socks, ballet shoes, gymnastics shoes, foot undies, or barefoot. Let's take care of the center's cleanliness together :)
Are there lockers with keys in the changing rooms where valuable items can be left?
Unfortunately, we don't have such lockers at the facility :( Please don't bring valuable items to training - we cannot take responsibility for them.
Organization and logistics
Can a child bring water to training?
Of course, water bottles and bidons are left in special cabinets before the training area, for your safety.
Can a child use a mobile phone in the training area?
During training we focus exclusively on work and exercises - therefore the training area is a phone-free zone, which applies to both students and trainers ;) Also for your safety. But of course, in justified cases, a child can have a phone with them. It's enough to report this fact to the trainer before classes.
Is it possible to pick up a child a few minutes after training ends?
Yes, the child can wait for their guardian in the parent zone :) Remember, however, that we do not take responsibility for the child outside class hours.
Parent
Can I as a parent participate in classes with my child?
Parents do not participate in their children's training. The exception is classes for toddlers where the parent's presence is mandatory. We invite parents to the parent zone where they can wait for their child to finish classes on a comfortable sofa while reading a good book.
Can I, and if so when, talk about my child's progress with the trainer?
Yes, of course - between individual class blocks, each trainer has a moment of break specifically for conversations with parents. During this time, the trainer is at your disposal ;)
Who can I talk to if I have concerns about how classes are conducted?
You can arrange a meeting with the facility owner at any time - who oversees all groups and trainers, who will gladly help in any situation. You can also write a message to our email address where you can directly express your opinion about the conducted classes.
Do you have a corner for younger siblings who are not participating in classes?
Yes, in the parent zone there is a place dedicated to little ones :).
Payments
I forgot to buy a pass before classes. Can my child participate in classes?
Unfortunately not. But don't worry - buying a pass is just a few clicks away.
What if the child missed several classes, e.g.: due to illness or travel? Do I pay a lower rate for classes in the next month?
We simply make up absences at our center ;) Classes can be made up within a month, on any day and at any time after prior consultation with the instructor. This means you can participate in all classes at the center - not just those you attended before!
Can we resign from classes in the middle of the month and receive a refund for classes that didn't take place?
Unfortunately not. Our Center has a 2-month notice period. The possibility of earlier resignation from classes without maintaining the notice period exists only when you find a replacement for yourself ;)
Do you honor Benefit-type cards?
Not at the moment - if this changes, we will inform you on an ongoing basis ;).
