Aerial Level 1 Enrolment - How Does It Work?

This season, we have introduced a new enrolment system exclusively for Aerial Level 1 classes. It does not apply to other aerial acrobatics levels or to sports acrobatics classes.

Why is Aerial Level 1 organized differently this season?

Aerial acrobatics is a beautiful but demanding discipline. From the very beginning, it requires upper-body strength, core stability, and overall physical preparation. At the start, however, it is often difficult to determine which training path will be the best fit for each child.

That is why we want to give every participant time to discover the discipline, enjoy the experience, and show us their individual strengths.

The First Weeks - A Time to Discover the Discipline

Aerial Level 1 classes are organized in consecutive time slots, for example:

  • Aerial Level 1 - 4:00 PM
  • Aerial Level 1 - 5:00 PM

At the beginning of the season, both groups are open for enrolment, allowing you to choose the class time that best fits your family's schedule.

Every Child Develops at Their Own Pace

During the first two months, the most important goal is for each child to become familiar with the discipline, gain confidence during training, and discover whether aerial acrobatics is truly the right fit for them.

Throughout this period, our coaches observe not only technical progress but also each child's natural abilities, movement patterns, coordination, strength, and overall comfort during classes. This is not an exam or a pass-or-fail test. It is simply part of getting to know each participant so we can recommend the training path that will help them thrive.

After Two Months, We Choose the Best Path Together

After approximately two months of training, the coach carries out a friendly progress assessment. Based on these observations, we work together to determine the most suitable next step.

This may mean that:

  • your child continues training in the Aerial Level 1 group,
  • your child discovers that sports acrobatics is actually more enjoyable,
  • the coach recommends temporarily joining a sports acrobatics group to build greater strength, stability, and overall physical preparation. This often makes returning to aerial acrobatics in the future much easier and safer.

Every child develops differently, and our priority is to help each participant find the environment where they can enjoy training, build confidence, and reach their full potential.

What Happens to the Groups Afterwards?

Once this initial period is over, some children continue with aerial acrobatics while others choose a different training path. If two consecutive Aerial Level 1 groups become too small, we will combine them into one full group.

For example, if classes were originally scheduled at 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM, they may be merged into a single group starting at 5:00 PM. If this new time does not suit your schedule, we will gladly help you find another available Aerial Level 1 class on a different day.

If both groups remain sufficiently full, they will continue without any changes.

Why Do We Believe This Is the Best Solution?

Our goal is not only to teach children aerial acrobatics skills but also to help them discover the discipline in which they can grow with confidence, enjoyment, and a sense of achievement.

From experience, we know that not every child is immediately ready for the physical demands of aerial acrobatics. Sometimes, spending a few months building strength and body awareness through sports acrobatics makes returning to aerial acrobatics much easier. In other cases, children discover a new passion and decide that sports acrobatics is the discipline they truly enjoy.

This approach gives every child the opportunity to explore their abilities without pressure while allowing us to guide them toward the training path where they can develop with the greatest confidence, success, and joy.
